Chuck Hawkins Cult
Below is Chuck Hawkins's rambling deposition after he was brought up before the psychotherapy licensing board in Honolulu on charges of psychological abuse of cult members, encouraging members to take LSD, and abusing the role of the psychotherapist.
After this legal action in which the charges were eventually dropped, the cult fled from Honolulu to the Kona Coast on the Big Island.
The cult fled once again, three years later, from Honolulu to San Francisco after an ex-cult member exposed the atrocious goings-on to the media. The cult woke up one morning to find Honolulu press helicopters flying low over the coffee farm - a scene straight out of "Apocalypse Now."
